Some of the best live music happens in the smallest rooms.

At the close of the workday, Colfax Guitar Shop quietly transforms. Benches cleared, workstations reset, chairs placed with intention, cameras and microphones brought to life. What emerges is a performance space unlike anything you'll find in Denver — intimate, unhurried, and built entirely around the music.

A select artist or band is invited to take the room for a singular, up-close set. No stage. No barrier. Just the music and the people who showed up for it.

How to Get In

Seating is intentionally limited so we can keep each show personal and cozy. We love bringing people together—friends, new faces, and kindred spirits—and we offer a small number of spots through the form below or by connecting with us on social media.

If you’re selected, you’ll receive an email before the show. You'll have 48 hours to reply to us and claim your tickets before they’re passed along to someone else.

There’s no ticket line. No general admission. Just a room filled with people who genuinely want to share in the experience together.

Follow us on Instagram and Facebook at @colfaxguitars to stay in the loop on upcoming shows and how to get your name in.

Who's Playing

Join us for a special intimate performance from Colfax Guitar Shop on 5/8/26 celebrating the legendary Cornell ’77 Grateful Dead show. Shakedown Street, Colorado’s longest-running Grateful Dead tribute band, will perform and record a special acoustic set from Colfax Guitar Shop using two acoustic guitars originally made for Jerry Garcia and Bob Weir, before heading across the street to the Bluebird Theater to recreate the full show live. Also on display will be replicas of the electric guitars and bass played by Jerry, Bob, and Phil on 5/8/77, along with two of Bob Weir’s stage-played Grateful Dead guitars from the late ’80s and ’90s.

Shakedown Street

For over 30 years, Shakedown Street has been performing the immense catalog of the Grateful Dead. The ever-shifting repertoire draws from homegrown idioms steeped in traditional Americana, folk, blues, jazz, and rock and roll, with a healthy dose of the avant-garde. Dig deeper into the songs, their storylines, and the characters inhabiting them, and you’ll find enduring tales of murder and intrigue, gamblers and thieves, sinners and saints, tales of everyman, mythic and surreal, blue-collar rhapsodies in a kaleidoscopic tapestry awash in color, sound, and light.

Shakedown Street’s own story finds them continuing to play to enthusiastic sold-out audiences, while marching up and down, going around and around their beloved home in the mountains of Colorado. The band happily finds itself in the trusted role of connecting past, present, and future Grateful Dead fans with the vital, vibrant energy of improvisational live music. Endlessly fun, exciting, dramatic, uplifting, and inspirational. The band and audience in concert. A reset for the soul!

A quick note: you may have noticed that our show poster is AI slop, unfortunately we had to get this out quick. We want you to know that our souls died a little using that. We’d love to talk with real artists moving forward. If you are (or know) an artist who’d be interested in designing future Tiny Shop Concert posters please contact us.
